Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is very happy to present this classic 1966 Chevrolet C10. This C10 truck has a great story behind it! In fact, the current owner is the 1st person outside of the original family to ever own this truck! This truck has been passed down from generation to generation, starting with the Grandfather, who bought it new in 1966. Everything that was ever done to this truck is known by the previous seller (who was kind enough to provide a "letter of lineage"), even down to every clutch that has been installed, which the current one was just done in May of 2021. I have to say that the 283 CID V8 that is under the hood is packing a punch, from snappy throttle response to a health exhaust system at idle. All of this power is being transferred to the ground via a 3-speed manual transmission that is still its original "3 on the Tree". That is one thing that the youth of today have not had a chance to enjoy, there is just something about a shift on the column option that really lets you know that you are in a classic vehicle. The exterior of this 1966 Chevrolet is a classic General Motors red that really pops and matched well with the steel wheels and this truck screams Classic all the way!
