1962 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible
This magnificent 1962 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz stands as one of the finest surviving
examples of Cadillac’s final fin-era design. Finished in black with a white convertible top, the car remains largely unrestored and remarkably original, showing approximately 59,000 miles. It still retains its original factory convertible top, an extraordinary testament to its preservation and care over more than six decades.
The car has had only two owners prior to joining my collection. The previous owner’s father admired this Eldorado for years and waited seven years before finally purchasing it from the original owner in 1992, when it showed just 49,000 miles. He treasured the car for over 30 years, maintaining it with great pride and showing it regularly at both Cadillac National and local events, where it earned numerous trophies and awards for its authenticity and condition.
After chasing this Eldorado for over a year and a half, I was finally able to acquire it for my collection. The interior remains completely original, including the door panels, seats, and trim—exactly as it left the factory. It features the ultra-rare black-and-white Cannes cloth and leather bucket seat interior, a one-year-only option exclusive to the 1962 Eldorado Biarritz. Very few Biarritz convertibles were built with this combination, and even fewer survive today in original condition—especially finished in black with a white convertible top. Even the trunk retains its original factory cloth lining, and much of the factory paint remains intact.

the elegance, craftsmanship, and prestige that defined Cadillac’s golden era.
